Here are many of the ministry opportunities for women in our church.

  1. Bereavement Committee
    • Whenever a church member dies, our church provides a meal to the family and friends the day of the funeral service.
  2. Food Pantry
    • We keep a food pantry stocked with dry goods and non-perishables. We give food out to people nearly every week of the year. Also, our Food Pantry provides a Thanksgiving basket and a Christmas basket to families in need during the holiday season.
  3. Ministry Council
    • The Ladies Ministry Council is a leadership group of 12 women representing different ministries and demographics in the church. They meet quarterly to make decisions regarding our Ladies Ministry.
  4. “As Unto the Lord” Ministries
    • If you enjoy sewing, knitting, etc., join this group of sweet ladies that makes lap quilts, adult bibs, knit hats and such for cancer patients and nursing home residents as well as shut-ins. If you would like to be a part of them be here on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 1:00pm.
  5. Communication Team
    • The Communication Team uses social media, phone calls, and texting to ensure that all the ladies of our church are up-to-date with the Ladies Ministry calendar.
  6. S.A.L.T.
    • S.A.L.T. stands for “Sisters Acquiring Life Skills and Truth.” It’s a ministry that seeks to bring fellowship and practical benefit to the ladies of our church through programs such as learning how to cook 30-minute meals or learning how to do introductory-level sewing.
  7. White Bible Ceremony
    • This is for new brides. The ladies of the church present a special ceremony of prayer and advice for new brides-to-be.
  8. Foster Kids Ministry
    • We put together care packages for newly placed foster kids, as well as work with local agencies to offer other assistance as needed.
  9. Mother’s Day Brunch
    • A program for ladies to honor mothers and celebrate biblical motherhood during the Mother’s Day weekend.
  10. Ladies Prayer Fellowship
    • Each month our ladies meet at someone’s home at 6:30 on a Monday night for a time of fellowship and prayer.
  11. Bible Studies
    • Occasionally through the year our ladies will offer a weekly Bible study for a period of weeks.
