Here’s what’s going on THIS WEEK AT SOUTHSIDE:
This week we will again have just one Sunday service at 10:00am. The service will take place here on campus and will also be broadcast live on our Facebook page. Here is this week’s worship guide. For those of you who tried to watch online last Sunday morning, I apologize that we were not able to stream the service. Both our Internet and phone lines had gone down. We were able to get the problem fixed first thing Monday morning. There was a piece of equipment up a telephone pole on the Alma Hwy that was in need of replacement. Thankfully, the problem has been solved.
Unless there is another significant rise in COVID cases in the next couple of weeks, we’re making plans for the following reopening dates:
- Wednesday, August 26th at 5:30pm — AWANA Kick-off in our FLC
- Sunday morning, August 30th during Worship — Church Nursery back in operation
- Sunday night, August 30th at 6:30pm — S2 Youth Worship (6th-12th) reopens
- Wednesday, September 2nd at 6:30pm — Wednesday night Prayer Meeting reopens
- Sunday, September 6th at 9:45am— Sunday School starts back up
I’m excited to be launching a new sermon series this weekend. I’ll be preaching about VICTORY! from Romans 6-8. My prayer is that these sermons will help us to win the battle against sin and temptation in our lives.
